I was reading a book - Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare - for a little while when all of a sudden I became sleepy. I put the book down and dozed off instantly, waking up a few hours later, and only because my cell phone rang...
Anyone ever gotten sleepy, or actually fell asleep, while reading a book?

When I read on the bus or train I can fall asleep. But than again I can fall asleep on the bus or train even when I am not reading.

Reading, snuggled under the covers, can make you sleepy. At least from my own experience.

Usually, I read a book to be sleepy and when I feel sleepy I put the book aside.

Books always make you sleepy? Or is it only certain types of books?

Quite frequently I nod off or can't keep my eyes open on the page.

Sometimes when I read I doze off and then when I open my eyes I cannot remember where I left off or what I had read.
