Usually when I'm home alone and I am doing things on the computer, I will listen to iHeart radio. An announcer said something about women are attracted to men who look like "their" brother!! Then I didn't know if "their" brother was to your "male" spouse/boyfriend's brother OR if they meant that you would be attracted to some one that looks like "your" own brother? Either way it sounded kind of creepy to me!!! So, since I couldn't believe what I was hearing I did some research and yes, the woman is attracted to a man that looks like their brother!!! This just seems to weird to me. I know it's been said you are attracted to some one who has characteristics of the opposite sex of your parent. For example, I would be looking for a man that had characteristics like my dad had. Well, in my case, not that far off. My dad worked farming /ranching, my husband has had experience in doing those kid of jobs. But this study of being attracted to some one who "looks" like a family member is just too creepy for me!! I did not have a brother add the man I married did not look like any of my family at all so that does not alwa ys work after all.

While I would have liked to have found a mate like my brother, or father for that matter, the ones I had been attracted to were nothing like him. And now that I'm in my cronage, I'm not looking.

That is rather weird. I had heard it was men who reminded them of their fathers. But I guess looks is a different thing.

I think it is creepy. I think it shows that the woman is attracted to his real brother physically.

You used to get along well with your brother,used to your brother's characters ,so you will find a person like him .Only in this way,you can get along well with your boyfriend.Because the commom things between you and your boyfriend will be vast.

No, I'm not interested in anyone who looks like my brother. Of course, he's my only brother, so I don't have to worry about if they mean his brother. I agree, it sounds creepy and sort of reminds me of Freudian remarks.
