Today I got first water bill. and its huge.
reason the watering authority has changed and they didnt send us bill for whole year, and all of sudden they have sent consolidated bill for whole year.
wish they could send it month by month basis. which looks appropriate. let see what our Residance welfare association can do12 people like this

A year? That's huge. Maybe you should ask them in their office for billing after 3 months of not delivering your water bill. They probably also making you pay for additional because its been a year.

@spaceseed I hope you get a better solution. The company should have coordinated with your association and vice versa because its unfair to both sides.

@spaceseed There is much difference when we pay every month and paying 12 months bills together.

Usually they send the bills monthly or every six months, why the department is so negligent. .but anyways we have to pay, they won't leave

@spaceseed It seems very unfair to have to pay a year in advance.

I can understand how terrific it can be. I think they will give enough time to deposit the bill.

Usually I get the water bills each two months.
Last year I did not receive the bill from January to June in time, only in August I received it with extra charge for late's payment,
I called them and explained that they were the ones who caused the delay and only after I spoke to the person in charge there they canceled the extra charge that they added and arranged the bill to be paid in some installments.
It was very upsetting to get through this situation

things are slightly different in my country. where authorities are not too much cooperating some times, and sometimes extra generouse.
