Every July some streets of Agueda in Portugal are adorned with colourful umbrellas. Kudos to photographers who capture this view in their cameras This tradition started just a few years ago. @allknowing They are actually strung on wires but you can't really see the wires. Your link shows so many umbrellas - many more than we saw.

@allknowing Oh my gosh - I WISH! Believe it or not, Hubby and I have never been to out of the country. Well, I did once - my parents drove us to Mexico when I was about 5. Going to Portugal would be a dream!!
