Air Conditioners- Relief From The Heat!

@dgobucks226 I don't mind having a fan. Though, when it gets really hot and humid, the air conditioning in the house is preferred. Since that will cool the entire house in one go.

I also prefer a portable ac unit.

I boourght a porrtable AC unit last year too, and I love mine. I do have central air but it will cost $2000 to fix it, and I certainly don't have that kind of monehy whatsoever. I decided that a protable AC unit would fit the bill, and it has nicely. it only cost me $250, and that is affordable, when it costs so much more to get my heat pump fixed. I am glad that I invested in the AC.

I would prefer an AC, but right now can't afford nor the utilities fee for AC use. I've read somewhere that the inverter type consume much less electricity. But price of the unit is much more expensive than regular AC (portable and window types)

Immediate cooling effect is offered by an ac. But I would prefer a fan than ac because after being in ac room for sometime, it is hard for me to come out. ...and when I come out I feel my body becomes more hotter than before. So I would prefer ac only at night..
