When was the last time you felt too much appreciated by the person you love?

I got inspired to ask this question as I remember how my boyfriend showed his effort to show his love and care. Even he is of a different nationality, he have been trying hard to adapt to my culture. We went on a trip together, but before we did that, he asked for my parent's permission. He travelled 4 hours to my country and made sure to my mom that we are going to be safe on our entire trip. After our vacation in Indonesia, we went back to my country together to make sure I'll be home safe. The photo is the Candi Prambanan located in Yogyakarta.

When I was young, even if my ex-boyfriend (now my husband) and I were born in the same city, he always came to my home and ask the permission to take me out to my father.

That is such a sweet gesture I think.

@annierose It's a way to show to my father that he respected him and he would have never done something he would have not approved.

Your boyfriend sounds kind and caring, and respectful to your parents.

Yes, he is. His parents are already old just like my mom.

That is great Mike Page! I hope that it will always be that way until both of you grow old.
