DUMPED FOR WEARING LACE

I heard on a radio talk show about a certain young lady who became rather upset when her new boyfriend disrobed in front of her for the first time - and he was wearing lacy briefs. It seems lacy underwear for men - boxers, briefs etc.- are all the rage, but this particular lady was not amused - she dumped him. Personally I see nothing wrong with men wearing lacy boxers if they so desire. Women are free to wear pretty much anything they want - so why can't men?. The important thing is the person behind the lace. What are your thoughts?

If he looked like the guy in your picture I'd have no problem at all

I chose the mildest one I found - the others are quite racy.

To each his own. My hubs would never wear them, even if I bought them for him.

As you say -- to each his own. Different strokes for different folks.

Can't agree here. If my husband wore lacy underwear I would have an issue with it. I would tell him never to wear them again or he would never get any ever again from me! Lol. I don't want to see my husband in anything I would wear...creepy. Thank God my husband is a manly man-just what I love!

@Kandae11 There's a lot of things I compromise on...lacy underwear is NOT one of them!

I won't want my husband competing with me either - but sometimes we must give and take a little.

I agree with you. But may be in her eyes, only effeminate men wear them. She seems to have strong views as to how a man should dress.

The unisex ones are also available. I remember there was a time when men didn't wear the color pink - but now they do, trousers and all.

They look comfortable which is the main thing unless the man is making a coming out statement that he is a cross-dresser.

@Kandae11 _Stereotyping is mainly at fault. We were raise to believe that girls act girly and boys act macho. Lace undergarments is not for men unless they have gender issues.

So sorry for that guy being dumped because of that lacy underwear, but we cannot blame the girl because of her impression to her boyfriend.

Nothing wrong with lace - even for a man, if that's what he fancies! This woman may have dumped the best man she would ever meet - all over the kind of fabric he likes to wear.

They say what you wear does tell a story. Perhaps wearing lace by men could tell a different story? I wonder

Honestly being a gay male i would even laugh if a partner was wearing lacy pants, it definitley is not very manly so i can understand her initial reaction.... but really whatever makes one comfortable good for them

that is a childish attitude. if a woman does not like her man to wear lace underwear, then, she is insecure of herself having that man in her life. a man who uses a lace underwear is secured with his masculinity, so the woman should not worry about that.
