Dealing with trolls

Recently I mentioned how you are more likely to be harassed when in popular social media sites. And consider yourself unlucky when you stumble upon a keyboard psychopath who won't leave you alone. Now for young people here who frequent social media sites, consider the tips below. Now, ignoring the troll is always the best option, but silence could embolden a particularly angry individual to resort to more harassment. A person I knew once silenced a troll by simply using high sounding words, something he can't understand:
The Internet is without doubt a great invention. Unfortunately, no one so far has been able to develop and anti-troll device that will help to make it a more civilized place.

I think the best advice in the article is to avoid and to have the webmaster or moderator deal with them. Most trolls can't be silenced once they get started, no matter what strategy you employ.

I agree. Engaging the troll will make things worst. Soon you will find yourself exchanging ill threats
