Stopping in to say hi

It has been so busy at work. I didn't even get a break or my lunch break today. I figured I would take a moment to say hi before I have to get back at it again. A few of my coworkers tried to contact the girl who quit yesterday but she is not answering her phone. I hope that she is okay. I can see her not answering when the boss called but she is friends with my other coworkers so you would think she would answer or send them a text. It is all so weird and so out of character for her. Hope she contacts somebody soon.
I will write more when I get home from work. It is pouring rain here again today and quite chilly. Hoping June will bring lots of sunshine and warm temperatures.
So how is everybody doing today? I will have to try and read some of the discussions later.

Does anyone know her outside of work, been to her house or anything?

Yes and they have called her and text her but nothing. They do drove by her house but her cat isn't there.

Hopefully someone hears from her soon and that she is ok. Since you did not get a break or lunch I am sure you will be hungry for dinner when you get home.

Nice to hear from you! Hope your month of June is much better than your month of May. Sorry about your poor coworker.
My day has been super! I went out for breakfast with my walking friends, and hubby is going to pick up dinner from one of our favorite restaurants. I have to go online right now to decide what to order.

We had a beautiful sunny day today. It was great right up until about 5:00 when the storm cloud rolled in and we had a thunderstorm and heavy rain.

@Happy2BeMe it's cooled off quite a bit here. We may get rain a bit tomorrow. Get a few hours of sunshine here and the rain comes back. The ground is soggy.

I hope she is in contact soon. I really hate it when a job takes over your life and you do not even get the breaks you are supposed to. I hope things get better as the day passes.

Poor girl, she must be going thru something pretty traumatic to cut herself off from everyone like that.
I'm have a not so great day.
I had to call in sick-stomach flu, and I've been in bed for most of the day, thankfully my laptop is portable as I have been able to use it when I wasn't sleeping or moaning.
