Do you remember Dr. Ruth from the radio and some tv talk shows?
Ruth Westheimer, who has become famous in the US as a sex therapist, writer, teacher and lecturer, was also a scout and sniper. She immigrated from Germany and was German-born and a Jewish immigrant. She joined the Haganah in Jerusalem. In 1948 she was seriously wounded and wasn't able to walk for several months.
She is now 88 and has published over 30 books on sex, marriage and relationships. She speaks English, German, French and Hebrew.

I remember her, but didn't know all that.
She was on t.v. late at night, and I would sometimes sneak to see what she had to say. I always turned it off after a few minutes.
