Have you seen a more beautiful venue?

The venue was really quite beautiful. Plush velvet draperies, matching chairs, even the floor was plush and of the same dark shades. It was quite a relaxing environment to be in, even as more and more people filed in to take their seats. I was amongst a small group of ladies who, for lack of a better phrasing, were running around like a chicken with their heads cut off. I was actually the only one amongst them to be sitting. I can't say I was calm, however, rather far from it. I was confused as to why I was at this venue. I certainly didn't think I was supposed to be, but all of the attending ladies thought I was. I am not normally one to argue, and so instead sat back and tried to think of a way out of this charade. First I tried to figure out how I got here in the first place. I must have had a little too much to drink, though I couldn't remember picking up a bottle at all. I remember sitting with a gentleman in his car. It was someone I was familiar with, but I couldn't place who he was in my fuzzy memory. He was a bit nervous himself, and he didn't do much talking. We had driven for quite some time before ending up here, and he was nowhere to be found. In fact, no males were. That is when I started to feel even more alarmed. What kind of venue was this where no male was in attendance? I could have sworn I heard male voices before, but I don't hear any at all now. I started to look around the room that we were in. It was done up beautifully, with many chairs facing a center stage. There was some sort of arch in the middle of the stage, and a microphone just behind that. I looked behind me and saw a velvet covered set of stairs that led up to a balcony above. A door opened on that balcony, and a cacophony of male voices rang out for the briefest of moments. I stood up suddenly, nearly in a rage. It finally occurred to me where I was, and what happened to me before getting here. I had to find the source of all of this and give him my mind. I gathered up my white, dress and started to march towards the stairs. A hysterical voice sounded from behind me, and I felt hands grab at the gossamer train that accompanied my attire. "Where is he?" I shouted. It was then that I saw a woman I never thought I would see again. "Are you behind all this?" I asked. She didn't say a word, merely headed towards me with a superior air about her. Her mouth was drawn in a severe line, and her eyes cast judgment down upon me, as if I was inferior to her. "Hello Daughter" she spat. "It is lovely to see you again. --- PLEASE READ THIS NOTE: --- If you've read this far, I urge you to read the following words. This is based off of a dream I had the other day. The majority of what is written here is scene for scene what happened in the dream. What I didn't add was the scenes prior to arrival at the venue. I also took liberties with the scene where she looks around the room. I don't recall looking at more than the back. More did happen within the dream, but I felt the ending I gave pretty much summed up my incredulity of where I was. For those who are still confused... I had a dream that I was getting re-married to my ex husband. Rather, I should say a nightmare...

I thought this was one of your dreams. Nightmare for sure. Usually an ex is an ex for reason. Few women will go there again.

As far as nightmares go, this was a beautiful one. My subconscious must have realized I wouldn't like the subject of the dream, and so showed me lots of beautiful scenery that makes me think of the mountains that my great aunts and uncles live in. The scenes with the venue hall didn't happen until much later in the dream, atleast.

The majority of what I dream is weird. I've had several nightmares lately. One was of me trying to walk down and on-ramp.

@teamfreak16 I was trying to get away from some creepy guy that looked a lot like a vampire in one of those old black and white films. Yes, I really have no rhyme or reason for my dreams. A lot of my dreams have to do with a road though. Once I dreamt that I was sitting on an old dusty couch in the middle of nowhere waiting for someone to come pick me up for some sort of work I was supposed to be doing for them. Then there was another time I had a dream that I jumped from some shrubbery near a bridge onto the highway below and continued to walk it until I got home. I've also dreamt that I was on my way to Mexico, where apparently I had to attend some sort of class for something. I have no idea.
