I "jumped the gun" saying that I was done with bookmark #6 -- I just realized that while I had finished the words, I can't finish the flag until I get the white embroidery floss that I had to order due to running out !
Oh, well. I can still start on bookmark #7 with the colors that I have...

@xstitcher Do you fray the edges, or use a backing or stiffener to prevent the Aida from unravelling? I haven't made a bookmark in years, but I used to fray the edge and then backstitch just inside the edge. I'd also use an iron-on backing to prevent it from running.

@Ruby3881 for my bookmarks felt is sewn on all four sides to the back, then I pull out the horizontal part of the weave of the aida cloth to make a fringe.
