Diary Monday 5th June 2017
A quiet day after such an active weekend but it let me catch up on shopping, and job search activity and laundry. I had an early for the next morning so I was in bed dead on midnight.
Diary Tuesday 6th June 2017
I got up at 7.00 am as I was doing voluntary work, letting medical students at the university test out their bedside manner and how well they talk to patients. It was fun, but also hard work. I had a break from it in the afternoon to sit on a course module planning meeting and the university provided lunch for the day which was very nice.
In line with the rest of the university we took part in a dignified minute’s silence for those killed in London’ terrorist attack.
Today is the anniversary not only of the Allied D-Day Landings, but also the anniversary of the death of my father in 1978, claimed at 49 with Coronary Thrombosis.
The weather was terrible all day with rain and howling gales.

@arthurchappell I'm sure she took it hard as well as the rest of your family.

Do you have to act like there's something wrong with you or do you just sit there?

@teamfreak16 no I have to just be there, it is actually a relief they don't find any horrible symptoms

Are you allowed to act up and play grumpy patients??

@Poppylicious I just played it naturally - the students were being evaluated by their tutor under exam conditions - my feedback will affect their marks too so I was quite honest throughout
