Dreary Day / myLot

It was cloudy and dreary yesterday, but we only had occasional rain showers. It was cloudy again this morning. It wasn’t raining when I got up so I was able to get my walk in. It was on my way home from the clinic that the sky opened up. It’s been raining ever sense. I don’t mind an occasional rainy day, but we’ve had too many lately. I want to go outside and lift my face to the sun. Sadly it will be a couple more days before I can do that. The clouds are supposed to clear out by Friday afternoon. We should have a nice weekend, if the weatherman can be trusted…

Oh sorry it has been raining so much Betty. It sounds you are getting right fed up with it. Won't be long for you now before the sun comes out.

i'm glad somebody 'tis gettin' some rain. we've mostly gotten the winds 'n dry thunderboomers here. hopefully yer gonna 've a wonderful weekend where's ya can get outdoors 'n enjoy life. 'tis 'pposed to hit the century mark here sunday, oh joy, lol.

The rain is supposed to clear up by the weekend. I hope so as we're watching my son's dog this weekend. Bella is adorable but she'll be tracking in mud if its raining.

@BettyB the hubs 'n pup do that here, lol. i've been shampooin' carpets all morn 'n 've my fingers crossed such'll stay clean 'n fresh 't least a few days :)

We had a spate of rainy days but the sun is back today. The Boy was getting a little bit of cabin fever, not being able to play soccer in the rain. The sunny day will be welcome.

I totally understand how he feels. I don't mind an occasional rainy day but not several in a row.

Today was like a perfect day here, just the right amount of breeze, bright sunshine and mild weather. And the best part of all is that it all happened on my day off! This weekend we are expecting hot and humid weather in the mid 30's which I'm not looking forward to at all!

Sadly its usually too hot or too cold. I guess we would get spoiled if it was perfect all the time.

@BettyB This time of the year and again in September and until about mid October, we usually can expect beautiful weather, not too hot and not too cold. But even those times of the year we get rainy days

We have sunshine here this morning so I sat outside for awhile and just let the sun soak into my body. Even the dogs were happy to sit outside for awhile too. Too much rain lately that's for sure
