Some people have the habit of arguing unnecessarily.Even if you stop responding to their arguments they provoak you to participate unwillingly.It really becomes difficult to get rid of them.

I agree...I try to keep them at an arms distance. Humor is a good way to beat them in their game though...and if they are ridiculing kind, get down a step or two, to tell them, that is something I can also do but I don't unless forced to.
