Oh no - We didn't break up.
But, I did re-organize his master walk-in closet by clothes type & color today. There were a lot of clothes that he doesn't reach for so I told him I will start to post them up for sale on Poshmark + Mercari.
What I mean by "start" is .... I only posted one item so far. And, that item sold within the hour! It was a Nike Dri-Fit Shirt that he washed, but never wore before because it is too big.
Maybe I will post more items tomorrow. Not to mention, I still have a bunch of my clothes to post too.

I prefer shirts that are a bit too big. More comfortable.

It was very loose.
Nike sizing is not consistent, for men that is. He has a mixture of Medium and Large, seems like it's a hit or miss. I wouldn't mind extra baggy at home, but this one was not one I liked.

Yes, he is not a fan of trying clothes on then he rips the tag and goes it'll fit. Then, its too big!
He is a Medium or Large depending on the brand.
The shirt I sold was a Large, felt like a X-Large.
So, I bought him a shirt online Medium WAY TOO TIGHT. My dad who's a Small fit it! But ladies Nike, I am true to size.

@infatuatedbby - Interesting. I don't have any Nike clothing, but that's good to know for future purchases.

You sound like my girlfriend. She went into my closet and organized all my clothes by type and color. I just had to laugh about that one. I told her she could reorganize my shoes next. I was joking about that, but I'm willing to bet they will be sorted by type and style before the month is over. I guess I'll have her tackle my underwear and sock drawer next! haha

Hahaha
I like an organized closet! Not to mention, I expanded by section of that closet.
My main closet is in a different bedroom in addition to my closets at my parents place. I even rediscovered new clothes that I haven't seen for ages! It's always a treasure :)

@moffittjc I donate the ones that are faded.
Goodwill resells everything so I figure I'd do it too.

Good luck in making more sales.
Do you ask permission from him first before posting an item up for sale?

@infatuatedbby I've done that as well, get clothes from the rack of stores and not try it on if it fits. It is a hit or miss thing. Good thing, I get more hits than misses.
I'm going to check those sites. I have some stuff that I can put up for sale.

Thank you!
I do ask him before I posted it, but I know him. I do pick out all his clothes
I always shop for him. But he has a habit of taking the tag and washing the clothes before trying hence some clothes does not work out for him.

It will be reducing clutter, for NEW CLUTTER
. I have been online shopping a lot lately, so the clothes I sell ~ I can reuse those boxes. That will reduce the clutter in the garage. But I did buy him new polo shirts that are hung in his closet, so time to get rid of the clothes he no longer likes, fits, or just because he doesn't reach for them often.

I've never bought used items either. It seems to be very popular even on eBay (but I never ventured to eBay) yet.
I even sold used pair of sneakers! Or even it the greatest condition, and got some money back. My most recent were a pair of Nikes! I got $17 and some change after 20% the site took! I purchased those sneakers new for $70, given it's a few years. I got my money's worth and some cash back. Didn't sit too long before it sold either!

@infatuatedbby Sending outside Switzerland is a problem, the shipping charges are high and we have a Custom. The Swiss market seems not to be at all interested by used clothes, bags and shoes.

That is a good way to make some extra cash for you two to go do something fun. I wish my boyfriend would let me do this but he is kind of a hoarder/ has a hard time letting things go. He has tons of good clothes he has only worn once and some not at all that he has grown out of. He also has tons of shoes, belts, and sunglasses.

He won't part with the clothes he grown out of? I'm more of a hoarder than my fiancé.
I love to shop and sometimes I don't even wear the clothes I buy. It's a bad habit!

@infatuatedbby No he doesn't want to get rid of anything. He gets mad at him mother for giving his old shirts or shorts to his brother to wear but not his brother has grown to be a lot taller than him so his clothes don't look good on his brother anymore. Normally his mother has to go in there when he isn't home to collect the clothes he can't wear to either take to their cousin, take to the church, the drop off clothes boxes, or if they are in bad shape just throw them away. He is the same way with random pieces of paper. He will lay them all over my room and I will tell him to move it or I'm going to throw it away but he doesn't move it. Then he gets mad because I threw it away but I hate clutter and gave him many warnings to move it.

Oh wow! He is quite the hoarder. He certainly can't remember all his clothes right?
I admit I like to keep knick knacks but not everything. Since I shop online a lot, I save all the boxes and packaging so I could reuse them. The garage looks like a hot mess but there's purpose!

Did you sell this on Poshmark? I have checked out both of these sites but could never figure out how much you would really make from anything. Plus I don't like the idea of having to wait for payment. Is this an easier places to sell than eBay with Fees?

If he doesn't wear them there is no point in keeping them. The money he'll get will be worth it.
