Quite a busy day – my last full day in Preston before visiting Manchester from tomorrow.
I had to report to the welfare people this morning, just a week after my last signing on. They dislike my journey keeping me out of their reach for nearly three weeks.
My own advisor had told me he wasn’t free and I had to see another advisor this morning. A soon as I arrived I saw that my usual advisor had no clients at his desk. The lady standing in for him consulted with him and as I was leaving he called me over to book my next appointment, so he might as well have talked to me himself and not wasted her time or mine. He insists on our next appointment being by mobile phone during my break. He has arranged it for just two days before I’m due home anyway.
Back home I had to then phone Welfare to report the earnings expected for my Manchester house-minding. They can’t just sort this out at the office. As a rarity they patched me through quickly rather than leaving me on hold for a long time.
Later, a friend wrote a scathing review of a Dr Who episode I enjoyed. He went as far as to accuse the episode author of being a Fascist. I told him I felt he was over-reacting and trying to be too political about a show that was primarily hokum entertainment. He turned on me with accusations of me believing false histories and practically made me out to be a Fascist too, and then shut down the discussion to deny me any reply. Pathetic.
I packed for my break and relaxed for the evening.

@arthurchappell Oh there is a universe of them online Arthur..it is crazy today how everyone goes that way..I have encountered many..you can't have an opinion even without ruffling them.
Yeah you won't miss that call, I know you won't.
And if we don't see you from now until the time you leave, please have a very pleasant journey.

That whole welfare ordeal sounds time consuming and a waste at that. Sorry you had to go through all that, when it could of all been handled by your advisor when you were there in the office. As for the next meeting being by phone, and right before you return. That doesn't make sense either, what is two days going to accomplish?
Now onto better things, I just watched the Monk episode over the weeknd. And ergh, there aren;t even words for it. I like Missy being back, but the way they brought her back seemed so un exiciting. I would of assumed for something as big as her being who was locked in teh vault, it would have been a bigger deal.

Don't you just hate people who are small minded, it also seems as if Welfare wants to make your being away as difficult as possible. One would think they would think it was a good idea.

@teamfreak16 the opposite really - he thinks everyone else is a Trumpite and anyone disagreeing with him is accused of fake news
