Thursday Is My First Surgeon Follow Up

A little anxious yet nervous, and a little excited to see where things are going since the surgery last month where they had to put the wound vac on. They cut out a big area on my back that had a serious Staph infection aka MRSA on it, and so I was on an IV Antibiotic, and in the hospital for a week, and then came home on reg Antibiotic until about a week ago, and still have the wound vac. I do have a Home health nurse coming out to check it, and change the tube, etc every couple of days, and they say they can see much improvement and my husband says he can see it too every time he is here when they change it. They say their is some sluff down at the bottom that it will be up to the surgeon to decide how to deal with this, and where to go next. I just know something needs to be turned into my Insurance soon so I know what my expenses could be if anything more... Right now the Wound Care is being provided for Free from my insurance but not sure how long this will last. Just thanking everyone who has been Praying. This has not been easy, and I would not wish this on anyone. I still am dealing with a lot of excess pain on and off, and with being Diabetic, my Blood sugars are still all over the board. Hoping my Endo is not too frustrated next Tuesday when I see her, and a little bit understanding since I have been dealing with this almost a month now. Will keep everyone updated. I am just hoping for Positive results on Thursday. They once were talking Skin Graft, and I will see where they are on these thoughts and if it will be an option. Have a Blessed rest of the week.
