Husbands' Pressure

United States
June 14, 2017 12:23am CST
Went to the nursing home for a while this evening. My husband is pressuring me to come and take him out for a ride. Well it was just Saturday he came home. Telling me to hurry and get a ramp. Well, you don't just get a ramp. His nephew is suppose to come this weekend and see about building one. But for him it has to be now. Everything, has always been now. It takes time to get situated for a life change as this. Asking prayers.

i remember that and how your back and shoulder ached with helping him while he was on home pass. i guess the only thing you could hope for is if his nephew could come in earlier, thursday or friday, to make the ramps.

@popciclecold yeah, it's frustrating when people are impatient and unreasonable.

I will certainly pray for him and you. I didn't realize he was in a nursing home. I need to scroll back and catch up. For some reason I had a hard time locating you on Mylot.

All I can offer is hugs and prayers. When my first husband became ill I kept him home a while, then he asked to go into a nursing home. He had not been there three days and he wanted back home. It really was not possible. . .
