This is one of the things I hate about Florida. It can rain for a week solid and then all of a sudden it's like you're standing in line for hell.
I really wanna invest in an above ground pool, but our yard is so bumpy I'm not even sure we could set one up. Ah well maybe one of those hard plastic kiddie pools then. I'll just sit in it and read during the hot days.
Come out looking like a lobster because I usually sunburn in eight seconds.
Oh the joys of living in Florida.

Ugh, that heat sounds miserable. I like your kiddie pool idea.

Much more cost effective, and I'm sure I can find somewhere flat enough for it as opposed to a bigger above ground pool.
If it weren't so hot I would go to Walmart and get one. Lol.

You'd have to "grade" your yard. Is that the right way to say it? Get one section flattened to do it properly.
So many retirees from NJ go to Florida and I have no idea why except there is no tax on income or pensions or something.
I dream of the day when we install an inground pool. I deserve it. I have the whole freaking summer off.

@thislittlepennyearns We had a tree that needed to go. Hurricane Sandy took care of that. Now we just need to dig up 2 septic tanks and it is GAME ON.

The county grades our driveway, so I am familair with what we would need to do. It's altogehter too expensive.

California is pretty bad too. It's supposed to hit over 110 degrees in the coming week. Last week it was cool and rainy.

A blow up pool is better than the small kiddie pools. Cuz you have the sides to lean up against.

You can put up a big umbrella over the kiddie pool.
