I read on Facebook that my Alma mater produced 3 topnotchers in the recent nurses license examination. A former student now colleague of mine appreciated our university for that. Then she, LG, posted some encouraging remarks about loving a nurse. I commented on her post, and even shared a picture of my tee shirt when I was in my 4th college year. I still have this shirt but I use it at home now. The year was 1980. Do you still have a shirt as old as when you graduated from school? My shirt is 37 years old now.

No, I don't. We issued a few basic tees in college but I've only used it as a requirement during school activities.

@cacay1 I have donated many to charities, but there are some that had a sentimental value for me that I kept.

wow, my friend, that is the advantage of not getting excess body fat through the years. i have 2 tee shirts, the other is for my brother, but that one is already sleeveless- i removed the sleeves because i want to use it this summer time.

I really like to preserve some old things of mine as well as of my family members and friends. Maybe I guess I'm little sentimental,to leave those. I have a dress which I bought from Rajasthan, when I went for traveling. It was 8 years back

Our class had shirts printed after our graduation. Too bad, I wasn't able to keep that shirt as a souvenir.

who got married? the shirt is mine, and the quote there is nice and good, but are you aware of a negative quote about a nurse before? it is often printed at the back of the tricycle, and to which i negated that idea.

@ridingbet , unfortunately I don't have a tee shirt as a reminder of my graduation, but it is good you have this to remember that special time. Congrats to the three topnotchers. :)

I don't like to wear the same clothes over and over, so they go to charity or consignment shops. I do wear my sons' old swim team and school shirts around the house. Child size, too!

that is great. the women who receive your clothes from charitable institutions will appreciate you more because they can use you clothes in formal occasions because they look new still, and undamaged.
