Mocha Cola from Brazil and Yuanyang from Hong Kong

I just read an article on MSN.com (sourced from Huffington Post, link attached) entitled, "This Is How The Rest Of The World Drinks Iced Coffee." The two iced coffee drinks that intrigued me the most were Mocha Cola from Brazil and Yuanyang from Hong Kong. Brazil's Mocha Cola's ingredients were: double-strength/twice-brewed coffee, cola/soda/softdrink, chocolate milk and whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Meanwhile, the Yuanyang from Hong Kong was made from strong black tea, cold milk and black iced coffee. I've had Coke floats, coffee floats, iced mocha and milk tea. Mocha Cola and Yuanyang sounds like caffeine overload. I would probably drink it during the day. The 8 iced coffee drinks from 8 countries were: Frappe - Greece Aisu Kohi - Japan Oliang - Thailand Ca Phe Da - Vietnam Mocha Cola - Brazil Yuanyang - Hong Kong Affogato - Italy Eiskaffee - Germany What do you think about Mocha Cola and Yuanyang?

What I can say is that they have Italy wrong, affogato is an espresso coffee with ice cream inside, the iced coffee is called "shakerato" coffee and ice cubes.

i still like my coffee as hot, with creamer and a teaspoon of sugar. i tasted cappuccino in Kuwait and i was quite amused when i saw the froth on top of the coffee (ignorante ba!).

someone told me that it's better to order latte than cappuccino because latte has more milk, while cappuccino is mostly foam. what kind of coffee did you drink in kuwait?

Cold coffee is best to have in summer. I always choose Mocha. It has always been my favorite. However I never Mocha cola. I am just wondering how it tastes

Here where I live, cold coffee is not popular drink as we have not big heat. Most time we need hot coffee.

i'm not a tea drinker, but i did like the cold milk and tea combination. coffee, milk and tea sounds really intriguing, though.

@hereandthere I bet you could play with the things and make a drink and store it in the fridge for a few days and enjoy

When in Rome, do as the Romans. I tried them in Brazil, Italy, Germany, Greece, and Hong Kong, but didn't like them. The frappe was pretty good, however. I don't drink soda at all at home and one or two cups of American coffee is more my speed.

i'd be more willing to try iced coffees with milk, cream, ice cream, soda and tea, etc if i were in other places than pure brewed coffee. is the coffee you make at home also organic?

I'm all for plain black coffee . But I do know there are some interesting coffee drinks out there . . . maybe I would have gone for them in my younger days - but now I can do without the sugary stuff. Soda and coffee together??

those were the two that really stood out to me. aside from the caffeine boost, a mocha cola sounds like it will make you gain 5 pounds overnight hehe.

I don't like ice coffee for some reason, I don't even like float. I mean when it's coffee, then it's coffee, if it's shake then shake, if it's tea then it's tea. probably not my thing.

I just drank a Starbucks Mocha frappuccino Yea. I still can't spell. It tasted great but was too small a bottle.starbucks mocha frappuccino Actually I did spell it right but the spell checker in this box thinks it is misspelled. That makes it hard sometimes to get things right the first time. Anyway, they sell it at Kroger in a bottle, chilled and ready to drink. It costs 2.99 for a small bottle. Larger bottles are seldom available.

i pause, too, when spelling cappuccino. i know it's double c for the ch sound, but keep forgetting if it's double p. but then, it's understandable since i'm not italian, but of course, i still check anyway to be sure.
