Look at all those pretty classic cars...

Spent the day at a classic car show here in town. Seems like they are going on all over the state this weekend. Some of my fondest memories growing up include going to these car shows and also learning to drive on my grandpa's 1976 Chrysler Newport.
Picture taken by me just today!
What are your favorite memories of classic cars?

Your classic cars are not the classic cars on this side of the pond where I have never seen a Chrysler Newport
. We have once a year an old car festival in my city, the cars are coming from all Europe and I take some photos every year. I really like old sport cars, starting with the Bugattis of the 1930s

Loolol! Import vs domestic cars, what a discussion. That's awesome though

@librarygeek1980 By the way, the French branch of Chrysler was sold to Simca in 1958 and produced cars with the brand name "Chrysler" until Simca was sold to Peugeot in 1978. The last great model was also a 1976 model, the 1510, sold in UK as "Chrysler Alpine", and was rewarded "European car of the year". Here a picture of one of them.

I'm not really into old cars even if they are restored and look nice. I know someone that restores them and keeps a few in his basement.
If my family owned any it would probably be different for me.

I had a full size Plymouth Belvedere 1960 and it was a great car. Moved quick on the road and wish I could get one today in the condition of that car.

I had an old Co worker that drove one of those up until the day she passed away a few years ago. Best car ever!
