Well, tomorrow is the summer solstice. It will be the longest day of the year and the shortest night. For this region of the Chihuahuan desert it means we should be starting our monsoon season ..... ok, we don't usually get a lot of rain but when it does rain it is usually around the 4th of July, this year has been totally whacked and we've already gotten some rain in the beginning of this month. What are you going to do tomorrow? Have you planned anything? Had to show off Boobears eyes, she's the second kitty I've owned with green eyes.

A lovely cat there. Nothing planned here except the one appointment I have as always every 2nd Wednesday or so unless it changes. It is lovely here so far not too hot.

Oh yeah, it's been hot alright. I guess you get way to much rain where you are, too bad you can't send some our way, we could use more.

I wouldn't call it a lot of rain but we did get some rain. I'm in the Chihuahuan desert so I don't expect to get lots of rain.

Yeah, summer is the height of the year for most of us but starting tomorrow the nights will start becoming longer.
