Have to get my music discussion fix in this week. Songs with numbers in the title just keep rolling along and I always enjoy the critiques/comments from the music fanactics on My Lot.
Today's "Fantastic 4" selections are from the 1960's.
---Recognized as The Fab Four "The Beatles" released this #1 hit on the" Help" album. You might remember this song from the movie of the same name.
---The Three Dog Night released this hit on their debut album. The song was written and recorded by Harry Nilsson and became a top 5 hit for the group. Nilsson had a big hit with 2 songs, one of which is "Everybody's Talkin" from the movie Midnight Cowboy.
---Simon & Garfunkel released this song on the "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme" album. This song is also known by the name "Feeling Groovy.
---This song recorded by Len Barry reached #2 on the US billboard charts in 1965. Easily sold over 1 million copies and received a gold disc for that achievement.
Song Titles
1. Eight Days A Week
2. One
3. 59th Street Bridge
4. 1-2-3
The songs may not all be fantastic, depending on ones musical taste, but at least we learned some trivia facts pertaining to these numbered tunes. So there's that...If you have any other facts or comments feel free to discuss.
*Apologies if any of these tunes were previously posted under songs with numbers in the title.

I didn't use any of them, but I wouldn't worry about it. Always nice to hear someone else's perspective.

I love rock n roll! I remember a lot of these songs from the radio (before the cassette/CD's era).

@dgobucks226 I really like that "Everybody's Talkin" song. I have The Midnight Cowboy but I haven't watched it yet. I also really like "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme." I know "Help" but I'm probably one of very few who can't really stand The Beatles lol They got some good songs but yeah I'm not really fond of them.
Was interesting to read all of these facts. I can't say I knew any of it.

The movie is very good although a couple graphic scenes. A Texas cowboy goes to NYC and discovers its harsh realities. Everybody's talkin is a great song
Glad you enjoyed the post and I won't hold it against you for not being a Beatles fan

@dgobucks226 Don't you wonder what kind of candy he took from that poor baby?

I wonder if that baby grew up normal

Whatever normal was.

@ramapo17 Guess falling in love was as easy as taking that baby's candy
Poor baby didn't know where that candy went?
