What's your Favorite Love Song?

We all have favorite love songs (even the cold stone hearted ones). Some are particularly memorable because they recall moments when we first fell in love, our first date, first kiss, first heartbroken affair and hopefully meeting our true love. (Not necessarily in this order)
A melody trapped in time
Beneath smoldering anguish
and love's dying embers
Sentence to languish
behind prison bars of loneliness
in pain's cold grey dungeon
A heart broken reaches out
to the moon and stars above
once heaven's canopy
for shared tender moments
All but one have faded
whispering in solace
a sorrowful night wind
brings back a melody
forever trapped in time
Do you have a theme song with your love one?
After almost 3 decades being married to me, my husband would remark in jest that we change our theme song to "Jailhouse rock"

@MGjhaud _This quote is often use to refer to a heartbreak after a love affair is ended. But the poem from where the quote is taken was written by Tennyson as a tribute to his best friend who passed away. We can look at friendship as a form of love.

@MGjhaud _ Love is often selfish. Sometimes to forgive invites more abuse. The quote from the movie Love story_"Love means never having to say you're sorry". can also be understood to mean don't do anything that you'll have to ask forgiveness for later.

My all-time favorite love song is "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. My boyfriend decided that "Stuck Like Glue" by Sugarland was "our song," and I can't convince him otherwise, so I guess it is. LOL

@Srbageldog _Unchained Melody became popular after the movie "Ghost" which I have watch countless times.. I also shed many tears at the final scene. 
Enjoyed the Sugarland video. Not a bad choice for a "our song". If you have to be "stuck" with it the video ending is a good reminder for your boyfriend.

@JESSY3236 _Not much into hard rock at my age now. Can't imagine what my grandchildren would thing of a "punk rocker" grandma? Although I like Aerosmith's "I don't want to miss a thing" The lyrics conjure a romantic imagery
