What is in this base of the fan?

We have noticed this for so long now: Darna always likes to sleep at the base of the electric fan that is located between our 2 refrigerators.
Night and day, she lies down and uses the base as her "pillow". She thinks it is her security blanket...errr, base. That is now her favorite nook.
Does your pet have his favorite space in your house?

our dogs have no pillows, my friend. they sleep anywhere on the floor; they are scattered everywhere but Darna.

yes, i believe so too. that is her space and nobody can take her nook. even her mother Macy, she growls, when mother approaches her. hahaha!

@ridingbet well, puppies do that.. they are teething and need to chew on stuff.
my puppy chewed a lot too.. she is pretty much over that now. but she does like to chew on sticks.. I think just to make a mess!! lol

wow, your pet dogs are so trained. for us here, the puppies seem to have itchy gums that they bite anything they land their teeth into.

@minx267 but our puppies are already 7 months old but still they chew. their latest victim is the upholstered seats of our dining table. my sister was so angry when she noticed the small pieces of the cover of her chair scattered around the living room.

it is warm there, because the door to her right (in the picture) leads to our kitchen. we open the fan only when my son does the dishes while i prepare their food.

@ridingbet I know that the refrigerator is closed, but putting your hand under some refrigerators, you can feel a cold air that is caused by the compressor.

the base of the electric fan is not metal but plastic, and the fridges are not open. there is another fan in the living room that is why we ask ourselves why Darna prefers the fan near the kitchen. yes too, maybe she likes the cool floor. but why there?

@ridingbet yes, I have bought a few years ago a matress for our sofa and chairs and sewed the cushions . There was still a remnant of the matress and so I made this as bed for Angus and I have put pillow case to cover it.

hahaha! yes, my lady. this afternoon too, her brother Zeus was also sleeping in the stairway and he used one step to place his head. i will take a picture later.

@SIMPLYD he slept (Zeus) last night with his head resting on a stairway. when i took the picture, he woke up and changed his sleeping position.

Yes @ridingbet , Daisy likes to sleep on the tiles between our two sofas close to her little bed, and if it is really cold then she sleeps on her little bed. :)

that is nice. your little Daisy has her own bed. when a female dog gives birth, we prepare a makeshift bed for them. our dogs are somewhat 'destructive'. my sister often shouts at them in the morning when she sees something at home that is destroyed by them.
