How many of you out there live in an area where everyone knows all about you?

Do you like living in a small town and people knowing about you since you were little? Minneapolis was not a big city. It wanted to be like New York but it would never be. It was midwestern and a different kind of atmosphere. I do not like people knowing my business. I am a private person and do not trust everyone. I have getting to know people here and have found a very nice group of people and it is nice getting to know you and hope you are liking getting to know me too.

I live in a small town and everyone around know everything there is to know about others, although I hate it. I am busy and have no time nor the inclination to gossip with others so remain ignorant of all that is going on around me except what matters to me. I don't know if that is being selfish but I prefer it that way..

Kiran8, that is not selfish at all. It is minding your own business and showing that you have better things to do than let their gossip affect you or join in with their gossip.

Actuall i live in Kenya on the Coast Island where half of the people around here know me since i was little though it feels good being known by many right?
