This morning I used my bread machine to make the dough. I just needed to put all the ingredients inside and then the dough will be ready within two hours. After that, I just used the dough to roll the sausages and then the sausage rolls were done Nothing left at all. Actually I planned to make it as breakfast for tomorrow.

Are those Chinese sausages? I've never thought to wrap the dough around them instead of putting them inside a bun. A new idea for me. They look good to eat.

Do you steam them or do you bake them? I make rolled sausages for appetizers but I use puff pastry and I place in the oven.

I steamed them because most Chinese food are steamed.

Usually Chinese food are steamed and western food are baked. If I baked these sausage rolls, they may become bread

@DesirousDreamer It can make the bread automatically. But I personally think it is better for me to let it make the dough and then take it out. I will add some ingredients to the dough and bake it with my oven. The bread will taste better in that way.

After the bread machine made the dough, I took it out and then roll it with the sausages. Then I steamed them for about 10 minutes and it was done.

Now you make me crave for sausage rolls! I do not have sausage, but I do have bacon and I think I have all the other ingredients to make croissant or rolls. Maybe later, I will. I blame this for posting that good-looking picture!

other mylotters do that, too. they say the bread machine is a big help when preparing the dough, then they take it out. the texture reminds me of siopao (steamed buns) but using a sausage/hotdog as filling. i think it's healthy because it's steamed , not fried.

I really think so. If you like baking, a bread machine is very useful because you don't have to make the dough by yourself

Those look yummy! We make something similar here called pigs in a blanket. I use small smoked sausages and croissant rolls to wrap them in or refrigerated biscuits.
