If it is ‘via satellite’, it is not ‘live’!

This Sunday is a benign-traffic day because almost all tricycle drivers here in my city are taking their long lunch break to watch the boxing fight between Mr. Pacquiao and Mr. Horn. As I drove the car to attend mass at 8:30AM, I and my sister noticed that the streets were not full of vehicles. The surrounding was quiet. So upon arriving home, I immediately switched on the TV and searched for the channel where the fight will be telecast. I found in on channel 55. When the main event started with the singing of our national anthem, I noticed that there was something at the right upper corner of the TV screen. It had the “via satellite”. I told my sister that the fight is not live. “Why is it so?” she asked. I told her it is ‘via satellite, so if you want to know if Pacman won, change the channel to Teleradyo (a radio channel)’. The result was already there: by unanimous decision, Horn took the boxing belt from Pacman. My sister asked me if I still want to watch the entire fight. I told her ‘no more, because we already know who won the boxing’.
