If it is ‘via satellite’, it is not ‘live’!

This Sunday is a benign-traffic day because almost all tricycle drivers here in my city are taking their long lunch break to watch the boxing fight between Mr. Pacquiao and Mr. Horn. As I drove the car to attend mass at 8:30AM, I and my sister noticed that the streets were not full of vehicles. The surrounding was quiet.
So upon arriving home, I immediately switched on the TV and searched for the channel where the fight will be telecast. I found in on channel 55.
When the main event started with the singing of our national anthem, I noticed that there was something at the right upper corner of the TV screen. It had the “via satellite”. I told my sister that the fight is not live. “Why is it so?” she asked. I told her it is ‘via satellite, so if you want to know if Pacman won, change the channel to Teleradyo (a radio channel)’.
The result was already there: by unanimous decision, Horn took the boxing belt from Pacman. My sister asked me if I still want to watch the entire fight. I told her ‘no more, because we already know who won the boxing’.

your enthusiasm to watch is already finished because you know the result.

Yeah...Transmission waves make difference really.I also noticed even some music played in one TV of particular home and when compared to another TV that same lyrics repeated with fraction of second continuously.

i can hear the tv when people here watch his fights. i just listen once in a while, but don't really sit and watch. i usually go online to check the result. in the past, my parents would listen to the radio.

they shout WOOHOO when Pacman lands a good jab, then when quiet, we know Pacman was hit.

yes, and Pacman lost because of some reasons like he is already old and his opponent was younger than him.

yes, my friend. i just checked on FB about how the faces of Pacman and Horm looked like after the fight, and i noticed that Horn had more bruises and inflamed eye than Pacman who was smiling always.
