Maid's on vacation and I need to bring food

Philippines
July 3, 2017 2:35am CST
It's her official one vacation this month. I was told to buy food from the Mall but I was worried because when I left it was rush hour. I was shocked when I got there because their Mom my sister in law left already. Mom was supposed to keep an eye on them today. But she was up all night finishing her other report .Even had walked exercise with a friend after barely 4 hours of sleep. Because of that she had headaches and couldn't afford to go. Were not supposed to baby sit them since they're high school now I think. but I'm uneasy that they're own their own without some to look after them. She might come back tomorrow with a friend. I hope she gets well rested tonight.

Hello @prashu228 some of us have fill in for that but it's just only for a month anyways.

Those kids should start learning to do basic house chores instead of always relying on the maid. Aren't they old enough to go to the mall to buy food?

Hello @josie_ They're too afraid to go on their own, which is good. As for house chores, they're doing some of it. I started out doing laundry when I was in highschool, can't believe they forbid me that time.

It was really a difficult situation when a maid will be having a vacation. That would be another adjustment.

@Letranknight2015 I do agree on that. When my mother is still young, I don't worry about having a maid. Now, she is a senior citizen and needs to have a person to assist her.

It's just one month away so it won't take that long. The adjustment was just too much for me @Shavkat

Kids here are about the same age and I still see to it that they have eaten on time whenever they're in my apartment. They still need attention and guidance apparently.

They will be, in due time.

Well, they're not kids anymore and I fear for them since they're just too relax and timid. Makes me wonder if they'll ever be independent. @MGjhaud

That is good that you allow her to take vacation.

Hello @jobelbojel it's always once a month, specially if they have a vacation.

Well I am sure they are really old enough to fend for themselves but they are lucky to have you to get the food.
