And I am sure this is going to come to (not) come to a shock to all of you, but I really don't care if you like it or agree with it.
I have said this before, and I'm sure that it will have to be said again, because apparently people will always be offended or get butt hurt when someone is honest and up front with how they view things, or how they feel.
My opinions are MY own. They are not going to change because of how you or anyone else feels about something. I will not change how I feel about guns, abortion, gay marriage, pot, the government, or a certain brand of mayo because of how you feel about said things.
How I do things is also my own way. I write too many posts for your taste, then don't read them! It's really that simple. I do not need a message in my inbox telling me that I post too much. I will not name names, because that doens't accomplish anything now does it. But what I write weather it be a run down of what I did today, or something more meaningful and in depth holds some sort of importance to me and that is why it is getting posted. I don't really care if it doesn't appeal to every single user here, because there are several discussions that I pass over because they don't appeal to me. So if you don't like what I say- just don't read it.
If you feel the need to block me, do it. You're missing out. But it really won't be any skin off my back. I don't need to make every single person happy, or appeal to every single reader here.
I know this discussion may seem rant-y and such, but I have had these two annoyances bubbling within me for a ltitle while now. And I felt like tonight was as good as any for me to get it written out in a discussion.

I have never been under the impression that you post too much. In my opinion, you write just the perfect amount of posts on this site. Keep up the good work and don't let the haters ruin your fun on this site.

Things are going pretty well at work, although my favorite boss just quit to take a better job out in Texas. But I can't complain too much, so far this is the best summer I've had in a long, long time at work.
I am kid-free for the summer, as they are down in south Florida visiting their grandparents for the whole summer. I almost don't know what to do with myself with all the peace and quiet around here!

I have been with the city for almost 16 years now. That's about 17 years too long!
Yes, my daughter will graduate high school this year. Time is flying way too fast.
I would love to visit Pensacola, if only I had someone who could be my personal guide...

When I go to recent discussions, this one is the only one I am finding from you April, unless I scroll a long time..so how is that too many discussions?

The reposting of the same article is because of yeah my cruddy internet connection.
And while I don't want to call anyone out by name, I just didnt feel like it was fair for that certain user to call me out in a message and say that I post too many discussions. I may have days where I post a lot but others where I dont post any. I like a little variety and being able to discuss different things with different people.
I really value conversations with people who bother to read my discussions and comment on them, instead of just glancing at them and leaving a one word comment or sending me a message because they didn''t like what I had to say or whatever. For this reason I value my time in conversation with you @TiarasOceanView

Wow, someone actually had the nerve to message you that you post too much? If they don't like it, they know where to shove it. I have never thought you post too often. And even if you did, so what? Who is any of us to dictate how often another writer WRITES?
Ugh. People just irritate the hell out of me sometimes.

Yay! I love these discussions, the kiss my A type. I have not encountered anyone telling me I post to much but I have gotten others telling me this or that about my posts and how I should make them more appealing.
PLEASE! theirs were not getting any more views than mine.
Just ignore them, block them if they bother you, that is why the block option is here.

You certainly do not post too many discussions and they are always thoughtful. You are not flooding the site with one sentence nonsense posts like we have seen. I count on your posts as reliable for me to comment on. The more posts you do the better and I see many, many people comment to you thus the vast majority appreciate your presence here.

You were at PP? I remember an April there who liked Adam West as Batman. Pensacola I think.

Thank you John! I appreciate every comment that you post, and that you let me call you old, and play along with it. I have appreciated your comments and interactions ever since our time at PP.
I see other people who flood the most recent discussions list with one sentence or nonsensical posts and wonder how someone logical could think that I post too much.
Like I said I just felt like the things in this discussion needed to be said.

You definitely don't post alot, and definitely don't have to find out what others like to post about those things instead of what you like and what you feel like.
And what amazes me about it, is it's usually the older folk who have a problem with how people are here. When they've been here for years, so they know people can write about almost anything, and they can just skip post they aren't interested in.

I can to some degree understand whre the "old" people are coming from. I get it, that our way of thinking is different than others. But there are plenty of "old" peoiple that value a :youngster" who still finds value in a written word, and someone (like me lol) who tries to spell things right and have correct punctuation correct.
I get so frustrated when people refuse to see things any other way than how they see things.

I know I should care about insulting someone, but its a little rediculous how sensitive some people are. I am not goiung to forgo my feelings because they might hurt someone else hwo is too sensitive.
