Swimming pool reading after a nap. / myLot

I´m about to go down to the pool for a half an hour of reading. Claudia is already gone with Sofía, Rafael will do some snorkeling and poor Vicente is staying home with sunburn. I hope that he´ll heal soon. He put sun block, but yesterday they only put it once and then went out to swim at the sea. I have heard that sun block lasts only for a half an hour and I took the bottle to share. But they were too enthused and did not come to where I was. I had brought too difficult books to read, but I took a best seller from the pile of books that the tourists leave behind. It has all the trimmings: boy, girl and love

I'm about to do exactly the same thing. I'm just really getting into Angela's Ashes, and I'm going to bring it with me to the pool...and then jump in.

I thought it was an hour in open air, and then a half hour in the water. But im not sure becauise i think the water magnifys the suns rays or something.

I am. Just when I was ready to go down with my book, Claudia came to fetch me to go to the jacuzzi. And as there´s nothing better than a hot tub at the Caribbean, I gave in. I will read later, after I comment the answers to my post.
