Gael Monfils looked sharp today in a straights set win against the British player Kyle Edmund 7-6, 6-4, 6-4. The Frenchman who reached the finals on grass at Eastbourne recently looked very comfortable as he moved into the Round of 32. Monfils awaits the winner of the Sugita vs Mannarino match. He should be favored.
In other Men's action Juan Del Potro is currently down 2 sets to Ernests Gulbis in quite a surprise. Gulbis currently has a ranking over 500 on the Men's tour.
Final update, Del Potro loses in straight sets; 4-6, 4-6, 6-7.

@dgobucks226 - I like Nadal most of all. He's fun to watch.

The "big 4" as they call them all look to be in top form: Federer, Murray, Nadal, and Djokovic all won their most recent matches without losing a set. Let's see...Nadal, Federer, I'd say your going for a sure thing aren't
you?
you?

Reading your post and after returning from a walk where I noticed our newly renovated community tennis court makes me want to play tennis. Now if only I could find a tennis loving partner.

If I can only fly to Canada. I used to work as an instructor and tennis coach. Maybe if you put up a notice in your community center someone would respond? (That is if you feel ok about providing your number) In any event, The United States Tennis Open is on TV the next week or so. Watch, enjoy, and develop a passion for it. Tennis is one of those sports you can play most of your life! Hoping you get an opportunity to enjoy playing

I always liked her effort on the court. Injuries kind of hurt her a lot over the years. Should of won more majors.
