I have two keys to my cupboard one for the main door and one for the safe. They are together on a keychain Almost ninety percent of the time I will pick the wrong key to open the main door. Just two keys and it is never right the first time.

Why don't you mark one of them with marker or nail polish or paint? I paint mine different colors to tell them apart.

I have the same on my bunch of keys. One way of identifying the keys is to put a dab of nail varnish on one of them so it is easily identifiable.

The light switch in my bathroom is on the far side by the other door. The fan switch is on the near side. I almost always reach for the fan instead of the light switch.

Both my door keys are the same and both truck and car keys are different so no way to get them mixed up.
