Resting after a long walk.

Today in the morning we went to buy a swimming trunk to Vicente. I suggested that, istead of going downtown like the other day, we could walk to the several resorts in Eagle Beach and see what they had for sale. If we walked instead of going in a taxi, we would save around $20 in transportation which could go towards a more expensive garment.
We walked and walked and walked. At a point, when I thought I would melt down, I saw a place where I invited to sodas.
And after another long walk we reached a resort where Claudia found a very nice swimming trunk for Vicente.
I went to see what else did they have and found the most beautiful bathing suit for me. Expensive and the best brand (Gottex). Rafael told me that it was too expensive. I replied that I was aware of the money I would spend on my vacations before coming, so he shut his mouth. This swimming suit will be for me and for Dixie. I lend her my bathing suits when she goes for vacations and she lent me one for this trip. But my new suit is a lot more beautiful
I don´t buy many clothes in Santiago.But I love to buy things when I travel. Do you love to buy new clothes? Or is is just once in a while?

I buy a few. But I needed a bathing suit and preferred a good and beautiful one.

Hi @margicha, I am not the best buyer in the world, I can tell, but I buy once in a while something new. When I travel I spend a little bit more trying to buy something I can wear and that will remind me of the place I visited.

I do that too. For some time, I bought mugs. Then I started with the T shirts. But after a while, I have too much of everything. My last collection were piggy banks from other places. The burglars stole all of them but the biggest one and they took the plug in had at the bottom to keep the money inside. I´ll hve to buy a cork to fix it.

I buy jeans and not much more. My friends bring me tops as birthday gifts. And I have many that are a couple of decades old.

I have way too many so I try to control my clothes buying habits. Also I make and sell clothing so there is no incentive to buy.
