I Found a Great TV Show

I don't know if any of you have watched it yet but I highly recommend the television series "This Is Us". The acting, the characters, everything about it is superb. It's about a rather unusual but loving family and includes separate stories about different members. Anyway, shows always sound stupid when you try to describe them so I'll just say check out the first episode. You won't be disappointed. The main stars are Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore. Season one just finished and I'm looking forward to season two in the fall. Here's a link -
Created by Dan Fogelman. With Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz. Follows a unique ensemble, as their paths cross and their life stories interwine, from sharing the same birthday, to so much more than anyone would expect.

The library has a lot of TV series. I don't know how long they take to get them.

I remember Milo as the role of Robert Balboa Junior who is the son of legendary fictional boxer Rocky Balboa in the 2006 movie called :Rocky Balboa:" One of the actresses of that show is going to play the role of the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.

Yay, another fan! I was hooked after episode one. It did so well that it was picked up not just for a season two, but also a season three. This is Us was also nominated for an Emmy for best drama, and also nominated were Sterling K. Brown (Randall), Milo V. (Jack), Chrissy Metz (Kate), and also the kid who plays young Randall. Ron Cephas, who played Randall's bio dad was also nominated for a guest actor Emmy. And did you know the guy who plays Toby is actually thin, and has to get makeup & a fat suit!

I saw the commercials before it ever came out and I knew I would watch it and love it. I never got to watch it while it was airing on TV but I did get to watch in online a few months ago and I love it. It is so loving and inspirational. I also love Milo Ventimiglia. He was my favorite when he played Jess in Gilmore Girls and I love him in the reunion of it too. I wish he was more in the show... well in the future part of it instead of them having passed away. Ther are all great performers.

It ended up being a lot better than I thought. I remember Milo in the original Gilmore Girls and also in Heroes. He's great and even better in this show.

@suziecat7 He is in Gilmore Girls: A Year in A Life as well but only for like the last two episodes and not for long periods of time. I think he had one full scene with Rory in it. The good news is that he is doing well in that show and became a writer I believe or publish another book or something like that. It kind of seemed like everyone was moving forward and doing well with their lives except for Rory.

This one's a great show. Randall is my favorite among the three. Plus his real dad cause they're both cool. Too bad for William though.. I like Mandy but I find it weird and not suitable when she's portatraying the old version of her as a mother on the show. But I love its story.

Randall and William are my favorites too. And Kate's boyfriend (I forgot his name). Yeah, they didn't do a great job with Mandy as an older woman but believable enough. I'm glad you like it too.

We are hoping it will be online somewhere soon! Many don't have "TV" as they once did. We did see some of the earlier shows someone shared with us and it was very interesting.

@suziecat7 Netflix exists in Switzerland, but the choice is limited and it costs 15$ a month the basic. We have TV with Internet from our Internet provider.
