After the resignation of Anil Kumble from the position of coach of Team India, will it be Ravi Shastri who will be back to helm.
It is pretty much obvious that Virat Kohli and majority of players find Ravi Shastri to be the man for the job.
The final race is between Tom Moody and Ravi Shastri as Sehwag is more or less out of contention.

@vsai2008 He was in favor of Kumble last year, whom they got in to coach's job and after that ugly drama Anil himself resigned.
Now, it would be tough to say whom hein favor of right now, but considering all applicants, if it is not Ravi Shastri, then it has to be Tom Moody for the job.
Depends on how much say the captain will have in the selection.

I don't know about that. But he certainly should be chosen the coach. He gets around pretty well too. I mean literally. He shares proximities with Virat Kohli. That's what I heard. And he's an ex player with good numbers. He'll be an asset to Indian cricket team.

I dont deny that, but coaching is a bit different than managing or inspiring the team.
Tom Moody as a coach had best credentials compared to any other applicant.
But Indian cricket culture is different and its very important that coach and captain are on the same page and get along well.
In that regards,Shastri is the best choice...one thing positive with Ravi Shastri is that he is a great motivator.

@shikharava So yes Ravi Shastri is the head coach of India, along with Rahul Dravid as batting consultant for overseas tour and Zaheer Khan as bowling coach.
Sri Lanka tour will start in next 2 weeks.
