Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

To continue my Pirates marathon, I watched Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. I had seen it, but I had forgotten most of it. It has Johnny Depp, Penélope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, and Ian McShane in it.
In Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Jack Sparrow is sorta on the hunt for the fountain of youth. There is another Jack Sparrow looking for the same. The other one is actually Jack's ex-girlfriend. She says she is Blackbeard's daughter. Barbossa has a grunge to settle with Blackbeard. Jack ends up saving his ex-girlfriend.
I do like this movie.This is the last of the Pirate marathon. Next week I'll start an Ice Age marathon.

I enjoyed the first one the best. The second one was good. The third I was Pirated out by then...But a lot of sequels our like that. I had the same reaction with "The Hunger Games" with Jennifer Lawrence. After awhile, there just is no new story to really tell.

I never got what was so great with The Hunger Games. I didn't bother with the two part Mockingbird final.

@JohnRoberts I read the books and saw the movies. My mother didn't like seeing kids killing each other.

@JohnRoberts I guess it was different strokes for different folks. You know how Hollywood hypes anything they feel is new and different. I remember the same hysteria over Ghostbusters, which was a funny and clever movie by the way.

This movie was a stand alone story from the original trilogy since the Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley characters were gone.

I love all the Pirates movies, especially the newest 1. I did like the "On Stranger Tides' one too with his chemistry with Penelope Cruz. It was funny lol.
