Frugal Food: Finger Foods!

Tonight is pigs in a blanket and fried wet batter potato slices. Not the healthies, but yummy nontheless as I stated earlier I am going to eat whatever I want and tastes good to me.
So here's the breakdown for what dinner cost tonight:
1/2 pack of Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs - $1.00 (they were on sale last week)
1 can of regridgerated Pillsbury flaky biscuts - $1.55 (also on sale)
couple slices of cheese $0.50
Milk, garlic salt, seasoning salt etc for batter - $0.50
Total for dinner for two: $3.55

Make a wet batter with milk, and seasonings and flour coat the taters in them and dunk them in the fryer and fry them

Yes, always eat what you like and taste good to you. Never let others change that. 
We just had burgers (mine were cheese). Going to make tater tots soon. As cant make both at once in the oven.

@thislittlepennyearns I know. I haven't made it since last September. Been craving homemade hamburgers and fries ever since summer started. It wasn't as good as I remembered.

Sounds like a pretty good dinner to me. I had a ham and cheese sandwich, chips and an apple for my dinner.

That is cheap and good! Another appetizer we love here are the lil smokies wrapped in bacon and covered in brown sugar. So bad but so good! Lol.

I like pigs in blankets. I hadn't had them in awhile. Tonight, I had an omelette with a little cheese and chopped bell peppers in it.
