I've been noticing..

I put in my resignation earlier this week. I'll be leaving my current job at the end of the month, and starting a new job on the 31st.
I went looking for a new job due to some frustration, both with some coworkers and with the organization itself.
Since I've put in my resignation, I've been noticing a bunch of other little frustrating points about the place I work. I'm noticing how all our tasks could be a lot simpler if they were set up properly, but they've gone about everything in a very disorganized fashion, so nothing is easy, nothing is organized..
I'm not the only one getting frustrated. A few of the summer interns are pretty frustrated with the job also..
Have you ever started noticing a bunch of little negatives as soon as you've decided you're leaving a job?

Yup i notice little things like that at my job also. I usually bring problems to my bosses attention and she gets it fixed right away or tries too. I hope you will like your new job better than the one you have. Good luck in this next journey for you

@katsmeow1213 That is not right. Unfortunately in every job field they will always have their favorites. It is like that where i work also. But if your not happy there why not find something else ? I just got moved into a new office with my collection team and it will be so much nicer now that we are not near the drama. We were in an office before with all the billers and now they are all together and we are by ourselves. It will be alot better at work starting next week.

I don't like to make waves, and some of the problems I feel like either they already know, or I'm the only one bothered by it. Like my one coworker that throws constant hissy fits.. everyone else babies him and always tells him what a great job he's doing. I do more work than almost anyone in the building and nobody has ever told me that I'm doing a good job.

@Blondie2222 See though, he's not their favorite. Nobody likes him. They talk so bad about him behind his back.. as do I, but at least I"m not fake and pretending to like him to his face.

I have. I just figure it is your subconscious way of letting you not feel disloyal. The reverse is also true for me. When I have been gone a while I think of all the things I miss (forgetting the frustrating parts).

Absolutely! I just wonder if the negatives are popping up because I'm leaving, or if I would have noticed them anyway.

@much2say I sure hope it turns out to be a wonderful opportunity! I really hope I like it better than I like my current job!

@katsmeow1213 Probably both. But definitely you know it's because of the negatives that you are leaving . . . and thanks to those negatives, you found a wonderful new opportunity!

About a job, I don't know. I was thinking of my last one, and now that I think about it, I did start noticing problems with some of my coworkers. A couple of them were developing some troubling habits of how they were treating people, and while the work was unaffected, it made for some stressful moments when interacting with those coworkers.

That's a big portion of what has been going on for me, but it's really just 1 coworker, and it happens numerous times per day. I know he's been spoken to, because there has been a couple of occasions where we were spoken to together because he made me feel so uncomfortable that I was acting badly in front of the members as well.

I wouldnt say I found a better job.. just a different one because I got really fed up with my current job. I'm far too frustrated to stay there any longer.

@katsmeow1213 If I am also in your position, I will file my resignation.
