My Laptop Died

Well it finally happened. The dreaded blue screen appeared and told me that I must use a recovery disk in order to use the computer again or reload windows from the original disk. The good news is I have those disks (disks or discs?) but the bad news is they are in Florida . So I will be computer shopping as this laptop is six years old at least perhaps seven. I will keep it and try to recover my work later next winter in Florida, but in the meantime I had planned to buy an Apple computer of some sort probably a MacBook Air . I just bought a new stove so in order to stay within my budget and not go to my savings I will have to wait until next month. So I am limping along using my phone, which I hate to do because I do not like mobile apps In most cases. I cannot stand to type with thumbs so I'm speaking my text and that is almost as difficult because it changes what I say into the most alarming things ! So bear with me if there is a bizarre phrase or word out of place that I didn't notice !
