Favorite Electronic Songs #3 - "Da Funk"

It turns out that only a few electronica groups made it into my Favorite Electronic Songs series, but #3 is one. Making their first appearance in one of my music countdowns is French electronica act Daft Punk, with their hit, "Da Funk." The high energy instrumental "Da Funk" was first released as a single in 1995, and was later added to their 1997 album, Homework. Ironically, the song was not all that popular until the Chemical Brothers started playing it live. The track was then reissued in 1996, when it became an international hit: #7 in the UK and France, #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, and a whole lot of chart action in other various other countries. "Da Funk" started out as Daft Punk's attempt at making a gangsta rap hip hop tune, but this sounds like nothing even remotely close to hip hop. "Da Funk" was playing on the radio one night as I pulled out of a tattoo shop parking lot. It officially became my tattoo song at that moment. I now listen to it anytime I get a new one. This is one smokin' tattoo, err, dance tune. Enjoy! (Info verified by Wikipedia)
With Human After All, you had tons of remixes and no video. With Da Funk it is the opposite, a video with no song. I fixed both. :) If it sounds off, it's lo...

I had a chair that sounded exactly like the synthesizer in that song.

I was going to use the video, but I didn't like that they added talking to it.

As much as I love this song, its not my favourite from them. I much prefer Harder Better Faster Stronger, Robot rock, Aerodynamic and Digital love. Best songs from them in my opinion.

@teamfreak16 Yeah, I know what you mean. Digital love is special to me since it reminds me of a special someone. I wish they would have played Daft punk at our school dances.
