Diary Monday 24th July 2017
Another unexciting day, dominated by my welfare hearing. With my usual advisor on holiday I had to see someone else, and she was quite polite and just signed me through with very little fuss or attention. If only it was that easy every signing on session.
Diary Tuesday 25th July 2017
Food distribution day at the community centre, with a chance to collect a full carrier bag of Free Trade food donated by local supermarkets. This is proving to be a popular draw at the centre now and I was able to get quite a lot of food towards the coming week.
The centre is closed for staff training next week so there won’t be another food collection like this for two weeks now.
Diary Wednesday 26th July 2017
An active job search day and horrible drizzly rain.
I was one of the first to start using the computers and a little nervous as a chap was painting the wall right beside me and in danger of spilling paint on me and over the computers. He was also quite blatantly leering at ladies passing by in the reception area. He even tried drawing my own approval to a young woman in tight fitting jeans he obviously liked the look of. I just found him a real Sid The Sexist character. I was glad when he went away.

@dollaboy Sid The Sexist is a character in a comic called Viz in the UK, he is very rude to and about women, and always gets in trouble for it - funny but too rude to include links to here - many real life men are jut as vulgar and stupid to women as he is

Glad to hear your welfare hearing went well and she signed you on easily. Awesome about the food center and you got enough to last you for a week. Job searching can be difficult for anyone - sorry about the painter driving you nuts. I get all kinds of people like that where i work also.
