This morning, my son wanted to have either pancakes or waffles for breakfast since he woke up late. Everyone had went out to have breakfast at the coffeeshop for dim sum at 8am in the morning. Honestly, I had never made waffles for breakfast, so this was my first attempt. The best thing about this Kenwood sandwich maker is it comes with 3 different tray patterns to switch. A waffle tray, a sandwich tray and toast bread tray. I followed the recipe provided in the guide book and managed to make the waffles, spongy but needed peanut butter to spread on top. Lovely waffles Have you tried making your own waffles? Photo taken n belonged to peachpurple

Yes, I often make waffles and I serve the waffles with maple syrup or whipped cream and fresh berries.
