Appreciation Dinner Tonight

My daughter and I will be attending an Appreciation Dinner tonight for some Volunteer work that we have been doing over the past few years.
We were surprised but happy to get the invitation, because they had never had an appreciation dinner in the past. This is something new.
We are excited to go, because we will be able to see some of the people that we used to work with, that we haven’t seen for a while.
It’s been raining all morning, so I hope the weather improves before we leave at 4 PM.
My daughter is going to pick me up, so I won’t have to drive. I’ll tell you all about it later.

Yes, it was a wonderful evening. Good food and I DID get to see a lot of friends that I haven't seen for a long time. It was wonderful.

That is nice having a dinner for volunteers who always devote their time for a good cause. Hope you enjoy yourselves. Let us know how it was.
