Hey guys, back with another disco doozy.. Even some of the best bands from the 1970s had to drop a crappy disco song right? While I love most of ELOs collection, (including Dont Bring Me Down, Calling America, and the Xanadu soundtrack, this one just well, no. The tune just reeks of haunted, abandoned roller disco. Let's strap on the roller skates, hot pants, and get down!

I don't even remember this one. But if it's as bad as you say, I'll pass.

It's not something they thought of playing at their hall of fame induction, that's for dang sure. You're wise to skip it.

@FourWalls - I'm guessing that they played "Mr. Blue Sky."

That would be my guess, and it was actually featured once just once on one of the local stations here as songs that used to get played at one of the roller rinks by my house back in the 70s. But ya, horrible.

I wouldn't really classify this as disco. I never heard this before and it's bad ELO.

Disco influenced a lot of bands to go out of their comfort zone. So I guess this song is "oh oh not magic"

True, it has back then, but try interviewing these bands now about whatever disco they did, most of the time it's one of the most regretted decisions ever made.

@librarygeek1980 I can name a musician who kind of sold out to the disco era probably more than ELO did. Rod Stewart had an whole album of disco like songs that I hated. You don't waste a rock n' roll voice like that
