Year 2009 I was featured on a show on TV about home business. I had an online shop. I resigned on my job and pursued my online shop. I got lots of views on YouTube for that, around 20,000+. Very surprising. After 1 year, I was featured again on TV on a different TV station about one of my products that I sell. Very amazing to meet the famous celebrities on that morning show.
I was on TV 6 times on different programs. 5 TV interviews were about my online business and one was about my sister who passed away. Not being boastful but just sharing. I am proud of those experiences. :)

I would never consent to that! I consented to a newspaper/online blog without identifying features simply because I wanted to share how to make money from credit cards while maintaining a frugal lifestyle. I would never consent to my photo or any personal info to be pubished.

I did that TV interview to inspire other people that anyone can do online business as long as you are determined to succeed, and also a plus for me was to gain more customers which happened right after that interview was televised.

Yes, I was featured on TV numerous times and most of these are all fitness related. One time, I was training or muay thai when a morning show took a video of me doing kicks and knee strikes at a bag. I was then interviewed.

@hereandthere I really wasn't surprised. It was just simply talking in front of a camera as if you are having a conversation with a group of friends.

Pretty cool, I am not a camera person, more a behind the scenes guys. I think what you accomplished is very cool though and you should be proud. You sound like you earned it. Some people just do not like that attention.

I did not give up my online business when i moved to Australia. It is still going now, but just limited products. :)
One tv program did my makeup. Some of the hosts asked me if I am okay with the questions that they going to ask.
I was still a bit nervous even done it lots of times but just not obvious :)

When you share this good success you experienced, I don't feel you are being boastful, in the least bit! Many of us don't reach that level in our business dealings and some, as you, are doing wonderful! That's something you have every right to be proud of!
