Why We Should Eat Bananas Daily?

We never run out of bananas at home. All of us in the family including the grandkids eat bananas daily. Bananas and oranges are sold in every grocery stores in Canada; and these fruits are cheap.
Why do all in the family eat bananas daily? Bananas are good source of vitamin C and other vitamins that our body needs to stay healthy. Bananas give us stamina. If you watch tennis matches, you may have noticed that most professional tennis players take a bite of a yellow banana while resting during a match.
One thing that I experienced though when I eat 2 or more bananas, I have to exert extra effort (even making funny noises) to poop. However, I found a remedy to this problem; I drink lots of water after eating bananas to avoid constipation. Another remedy is to eat a couple of mandarin oranges after eating a banana. Rest assured, you are relaxed seated on your "throne" while discarding waste early morn, reading your favorite tabloid.
There are three types of bananas sold in the grocery stores as shown above. We go for the one in the middle. Do you eat bananas?

@infatuatedbby You and my wife have something in common as far as banana-preference is concerned. I like the small ones; they are sweet and do not need much chewing .

@DesirousDreamer I am in my late 50's and I do push ups every morning before I go to work. I can do 70 push ups without stopping! I think eating lots of fruits that include bananas gives me much energy and muscles.

I guess they say bananas have potassium - good to get rid of leg cramps! We always have bananas here too, but the kids don't eat it as much as we do (I think they got sick of it - well, unless it's in some dessert
). We go for the one in the middle, but we buy them a tad greener if possible (they get ripe so quick in our house!).

@antonbunot You sound like Popeye
but instead of spinach, you eat bananas to make you strong
. I don't know if there's anything I can eat that will make me not get annoyed or mad . . . maybe if I throw bananas at certain people
!

@much2say Since I started to eat bananas 5 years ago on a daily basis; I feel stronger. According to our family doctor eating bananas on a daily basis makes our blood pressure stay normal. . I observed that when I eat bananas and other fruits, I feel relaxed and not easily annoyed or get mad.

Our body needs 70 milligrams of vitamin C . . . that is equal to one medium banana and 2 small oranges. So, I always eat one or 2 bananas and 2 tangerines everyday. . . Here is a picture of the bananas and tangerines on our dining table.

Do not worry, it happens to miss notifications. I also kept eating only a little piece of banana at a time and I have less problems now.

@LadyDuck Whew, if I did not go over the comments from my banana post
. . I would have not known you posted a comment about my banana post. Anyway, better late than never . . . my wife used to be allergic also to bananas. Our family doctor advised her to just keep on eating bananas. Now she is no longer allergic to bananas.

@bluesa Good thing to do - - always drink a glass or 2 of water after eating bananas. If we don't - - we would be in trouble while seated on our throne. .

We have bananas hanging around all over our home. With an organic garden and over 70 banana trees there is always a bunch here or there. We make banana jam, banana pies, banana cakes, banana bread, banana cookies, fried bananas, and banana poe. Here we are never in short supply of bananas.

Same here. We never run out of bananas at home too. We always buy the "Lakatan" type because it is packed with more nutrients compare to others according to research.
