I just read an article about bugs from @snowy22315 and thought I would tell you what I use to get rid of bugs.
When I can see the bugs, on my plants or inside, I spray them with a solution of a couple drops of dish soap and water.
To keep mosquitos from biting me, I spray myself with chamomile tea or eucalyptus oil/water/rubbing alcohol mixture.
To keep them off my plants, I spray with a dash of Tabasco or other hot sauce, a bit of sugar, in water. My friend who is a horticulturist told me to add the sugar to that mixture because then it will stick to the plants for longer. I used to use just the hot sauce in water. Otherwise I have to apply it every day.
A dried red pepper in the rice will keep bugs from getting into the rice.
These are a few ways to get rid of bugs without chemicals.
Do you use chemicals or natural means to get rid of bugs?

I had ants in the house a couple of times and I believe it was a couple drops of peppermint oil that sorted them. Also, I taped up the hole I found that the entered.

The dried red pepper in rice is an old Japanese way of doing it. I have never tried it in flour or anything, but I think it should work for those things as well.
